Load & Weight Measurement

The more that is known about the weight and center of gravity of a load, the safer a lifting or moving activity will be. Load cells and dynamometers can be categorized for the type of force that is being measured. Our best-selling Radiolink plus or a low headroom load shackle measure in tensile force, but compression load cells might be required for another project. We explain which products are suitable for certain measurement applications and environments. Note that the Radiolink plus is designed to be rigged with Crosby standard shackles, also available on this equipment store. ATEX and IECEx versions are also in stock for hazardous areas, Zones 0, 1 and 2, for the oil and gas and petrochemicals sectors. The Clamp On Line Tensionmeter (or COLT) is for measuring tension on static lines. All Crosby Straightpoint products are lightweight and easy to ship.
